Back to Christopher Creek!

It is becoming a tradition for our family to take a few days and go to Christopher Creek Lodge.  July 2017 was our most recent visit.  It was raining when we got there but we had some blue skies later.



 

Amy, Bryce, Esther, Karsten, Maylee, and Melody stayed in Cabin 3, which is close to the creek.  Various views of the cabin (inside & out) will appear later.

 
Paul & Shirleen stayed in Pony Express 1 (first door on the right in the photo below).  LeAnn & Michael stayed in Pony Express 2 (second door on the right in the photo below).  The door to the office is located down at the end.

We saw many hummingbirds of various colors including all blue, all green, and ruby-throated ones.



We arrived at the lodge on Friday, July 21st.  After checking in we (all 10 of us) went to the Landmark for dinner.

 Snakes?  Yes, indeed!  Bryce found some baby garter snakes and everyone who wanted to got to hold them before Bryce returned them to their home.

And inside Cabin 3 we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  We played games.  And there was bonding.

Sunday, we attended Church with the branch in the Christopher Creek area.  On Monday morning we all went to breakfast at the Creekside Restaurant, then packed up and headed home to Mesa.
