On Friday, July 30th, the following all got together at the Mesa High School Aquatics Center:

- Amelia
- Lizzie
- Karsten
- Maylee
- Melody
- James
From there we were off to Mesa Frozen Yogurt for treats. Afterward Amelia, Karsten, Maylee, Melody, and James went back to their home. Lizzie was packed and ready to come to our house for a sleepover!
At our home there were games (Chess and The Great Museum Caper), dinner, TV (including the Olympics, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and Concentration). We ended the evening reading some scriptures, and Shirleen read a couple of stories to Lizzie.
Saturday morning we had pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, more games (Clue, Masterpiece, and Numbrix), and a video (Stuart Little). That afternoon we went to Dobson Ranch Park (east of Dobson, south of Baseline). Here are some representative photos:
