Good Deeds, etc.

Monday, November 15th

Shirleen served at the temple open house.  That evening Michael & LeAnn came to our home, and we were joined (via Zoom) by Sarah & Craig for FHE online.  Amy's family had some feeling sick, so didn't join us.  LeAnn led a discussion regarding hearkening, and eternal marriage.  M&L stayed for awhile after FHE, and the four of us played Quiddler.

Tuesday, November 16th

LeAnn and her Dad came over and installed a grab bar in our hallway bath/shower.  Shirleen is grateful for the stability it provides.  

That night we had get-to-know-you games at Relief Society.

Wednesday, November 17th

Before Shirleen left to serve at the temple open house she gave Paul a much-needed haircut.  Afterwards, she had a mammogram and we looked at exercise bikes at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Thursday, November 18th

We went to Walmart to see more exercise bikes and decided to order one online.  That afternoon Shirleen got two new mouth guards to treat TMJ.  She wears one during the day and the other at night.  In the evening we went to Bryce & Amy's home to be with their children while they went to a rehearsal (choir & orchestra) for a Christmas concert.

Friday, November 19th

Shirleen served her final shift as part of the Mesa Temple Open House.  She was so happy to be there and will miss helping with the open house, but is grateful we are getting closer to having the temple reopen.  Paul came, and they got some photos.  Here's one:

That afternoon we took a donation of blankets, burp cloths, and booties to Choices Pregnancy Center.  The missionaries joined us for dinner that night.  Paul got the food at Yoko.  We always enjoy the spirit the missionaries bring.

Saturday, November 20th

We went in the morning to Bryce & Amy's home to be with their children while they went off to a Millennial Choirs and Orchestras rehearsal for a Christmas concert.  We did not stay the entire time; we took Karsten & Maylee with us to Tanner Lunt's (Jon and Charis' son) baptism while Lizzie stayed to watch Melody & James.  We were so happy to see Bruce & Merlene, Jon & Charis, Lisa & Brett, and Steve & Amy and their families.

Sunday, November 21st

Paul went to the church, then returned home to take Shirleen to our 2-hour block.  We had choir practice afterwards.  Michael & LeAnn came for dinner & games (Numbrix, Quixx, and Splendor) in the evening.
