Paul's Mother's 100th birthday! And here she is:
Lizzie came for a visit. We got a takeout order from Yoko, and had the missionaries for dinner. We played games: Clue (The Great Museum Caper) and Masterpiece. There was scripture reading, then Paul read one of James Herriot's stories.

Paul's Father's 108th birthday! And here he is in the 1960s, in our front yard, in Tooele, Utah:
Lizzie & Paul then headed over to Riverview Park, where the climbing can be challenging.

We had dinner at our house, then went to Mesa Frozen Yogurt.

Sunday, July 24th, 2022
Paul attended a morning bishopric meeting. We went to our church later in the morning, and that afternoon we went to the Griners' church as it ended so Lizzie could participate in a "Linger Longer" celebrating Pioneer Day. We visited with Larry & Judy Battraw (who happen to live in that same ward), and transferred Lizzie to her family. Michael came over for dinner that evening. LeAnn arrived later, and the four of us played Quixx.
Monday, July 25th, 2022
Paul took our 2008 Buick in for emissions testing, and it passed! He then drove to the Griners' home, and picked up Karsten for a sleepover. On their way back to our home he picked up Shirleen's sewing machine that had been in for repairs for several weeks. They then drove to our home, picked up Shirleen, and headed to Riverview Park where Karsten did some climbing:

Paul & Karsten got in some video time (Swiss Family Robinson and Spirit). We played 3Up3Down, and we had dinner at our home. Then it was time for our Zoom FHE for a discussion led by Esther (aka Lizzie), fittingly considering Esther (the book).
Following FHE, Karsten and the two of us went to Fry's for groceries, including canned pumpkin. Hmmm..., what would that be used for? We'd seen a few drops of rain on our way over there, and this was the scene, looking north across the Fry's parking lot:

This place is roughly a mile north of Fry's. No rain was falling here.
Tuesday, July 26th, 2022
We had Shirleen's pumpkin pancakes for breakfast! We played 3Up3Down. Paul & Karsten spent time watching Robots (the video). The three of us played games (Dominoes and The Great Dalmuti). Paul took Karsten to a gymnastics class, and continued on to the Griners' home (Bryce picked up Karsten later, and took him home). Paul stayed until it was time to take Lizzie to her violin lesson.

We served at Family Services (4-8pm shift). Here's a photo of a beautiful sunset looking northwest from the west entrance:
Thursday, July 28th, 2022
While Shirleen indexed in the morning Paul did some errands. Later, we served at Family Services (4-8pm shift), this time substituting for the regular person there (who had substituted for us when we were on the road trip to Nauvoo).
Friday, July 29th, 2022
We picked up Maylee to spend the night at our house. We met Amy & kids at the Mesa High School Aquatic Center. After dinner we went to Mesa Frozen Yogurt. And there was some movie time at our house (Robots).

Paul went to lunch with a brother in our ward. Later, Paul, Shirleen, and Maylee played Trash (a card game, aka Garbage). Haven't played it? Ask us about it some time.

Amy & Bryce & 5 Kids, Michael, and the two of us enjoyed dinner together at our house. We missed LeAnn who wasn't feeling well. Afterward we played Funny Bones.
