Vacation in the Flagstaff Area

Friday, June 26th

Bryce, Maylee, Melody, and James were the first to travel to Flagstaff.  They had some time, so they went up to the Arizona Snowbowl.

Johnny & Judy Watkins, and Kaylene, Ann, and Waylon drove from Albuquerque.

Michael and LeAnn had car trouble, and LeAnn had an onset of illness.

Shirleen & Paul were delayed in leaving because Shirleen had fallen on Wednesday, her ribs were still hurting, and the primary care physician's PA-C recommended an ER visit for further evaluation.  Good news!  No broken ribs or punctured lung, no brain bleed, no broken elbow, just lots of bruising.  They rode up with Amy.

Saturday, June 27th

In the morning, Bryce drove to pick up Lizzie & Karsten who had been at an FSY event in Flagstaff.

The big event of the day was a trip to Bearizona, a wildlife park near Williams, which is west of Bellemont.  There is a driving tour and a walking tour.  Here are several representative photographs:

Sunday, June 28th

Johnny, Judy, Kaylene, Ann, and Waylon departed for Las Vegas.  The rest of us met up with David & Lani Lunt at a church on Lake Mary Road, and attended meetings there (David & Lani have a house in the Flagstaff area).  After the meetings we headed home to Mesa.

A nice vacation trip!
