Monday, May 9th

Paul planted (at the edge of our back patio) the Hydrangea that Michael & LeAnn had given Shirleen over a week earlier.

We enjoyed our usual Monday evening online FHE, but without the Griners who had another commitment.

Tuesday, May 10th

Easter Lilies in our front-yard garden:

Paul picked up Melody for preschool, and took her by our home afterwards.  Here she is by the Easter Lilies:

He then took her over to Emerald Park for some play time:

That evening Paul drove Lizzie to & from her weekly violin lesson.

Wednesday, May 11th

Shirleen had an appointment with a hair stylist in the morning, and here's a photo of her new 'do:

This meant, however, that Amelia had to drive Melody to preschool.  But Paul was able to drive Melody home from preschool.  Later, we went over to Family Services for our Wednesday evening shift as Church Service Missionaries.

Friday, May 13th

We served on our morning shift at the temple.  That evening we went to the wedding reception of a young man who had been in our ward (and who was one of our homeTeacher/ministers prior to entering the military).

Saturday, May 14th

This was a busy day!  We went to three tumbling performances:  One at 12pm (Melody), one at 2pm (Maylee), and one at 4pm (Lizzie) - all at Skyline High School.

The girls are enrolled at Flips, an organization that has been around for about 30 years.

Lizzie, Maylee, and Melody are enrolled in Flips, and go to practices on a regular basis.  Today was the end-of-season program for each of the three groups.  They performed in choreographed dance ensembles.  Here they each are after their performances, in the order in which their groups performed:

After the performances we went shopping, then to our home, and then to a ward BBQ and Kickball social.

Sunday, May 15th

Early in the morning Paul attended a bishopric meeting.  Later, in the morning, our ward had a ward conference, which included a visit from the stake presidency.  Afterward there was a choir practice, and, in the afternoon, Paul attended a meeting of the Harmony Ward Council.  In the evening we enjoyed a belated Mother's Day dinner that included a tossed salad and homemade ranch dressing from LeAnn.  Bryce provided garlic mashed potatoes.  There was zucchini from the Gs garden, and a blackberry pie from Amelia (the blackberries, by the way, came from bushes in the Gs front yard).
