Last Monday Shirleen finished crocheting around this fleece blanket. The print is a reminder of Paul's mother who loved birds, and fed them each morning at her home in Oregon. She helped our children appreciate and identify birds.
On Tuesday Shirleen had a doctor's appointment regarding sore knees. Paul took Lizzie to her evening violin lesson. When they got back to the G's home Maylee was finishing up something she had prepared for us. When it was done, she gave it to Paul, and he took it home. Here it is with Shirleen:
On Wednesday we went shopping at Ranch Market (Mesa), NW corner of Southern & Stapley. This place is worth a visit. Paul likes to go to the seafood section, but there's a lot more to see in addition to that. There are a couple of entrances; here's the one we went in this time:
On Thursday we went back to the Gilbert Temple (for proxy endowments this time). And, yes, we got a photo outside, after the session - a selfie! Here it is:
On Friday Amelia came by our house with Melody and James. We watched James while Amelia went with Melody to meet with Melody's pre-school teachers. Pre-school starts this coming week. James had lunch at our house. Here he is:
Today was Fast Sunday. Shirleen was the chorister in Sacrament Meeting.
A particular concern this past week has been LeAnn's health situation. She has been suffering from vertigo. Testing is ongoing. We are hopeful for a good outcome.
