Tuesday, June 14th

Paul went to Discount Tire, and got a tire sensor problem corrected.  Shirleen did some indexing.  Paul took Lizzie to & from a violin lesson.

Wednesday, June 15th

We went to Family Services and were there from about 4pm to about 8:30pm.  Part way into the shift Paul went and picked up a take-out order from the Princess Mediterranean Restaurant & Market (which is not far from the Family Services offices):

• Kofta Kabob Plate and Garlic Sauce (for Paul)
• Beef Shawarma Wrap (for Shirleen)

Thursday, June 16th

Paul got in a bike ride in the morning.  That evening we went to a swim meet at Shepherd Jr. High.  This was a "backstroke" meet.  Maylee and Karsten both participated.  Lizzie was away at a girls camp.  Shirleen gave Paul a haircut.

Friday, June 17th

We served on our usual morning shift at the temple.  On our way home we went (but got there late) to Ray Neerings' funeral service.  Later we went to Fry's, and picked up a prescription for Shirleen, and we got a birthday gift for a sister we minister to.

Saturday, June 18th

Paul got in a bike ride in the morning.  We went shopping.  Paul mowed the front yard.

Sunday, June 19th

Paul attended a morning bishopric meeting.  We then attended church.  After church we attended choir practice.  That evening Michael & LeAnn and the seven Griners came to our home, and we enjoyed a combined celebration of Father's Day and Paul's birthday (which is still a few days away).  Dinner featured rotisserie chicken, crab legs, a salad, corn on the cob, watermelon, grapes, sparkling cider, and grape juice.  Paul then received a delightful array of gifts, cards, and artwork.  The color green (Paul's favorite color) showed up multiple times, particularly from the grandchildren.  Very thoughtful!  A really nice event!  Paul was pleased!
